Stay Salty Be The Light - Matthew 5 :13-16

We are empowering and building meaningful relationships with vulnerable and local communities in Uganda to share the love of Christ and break the cycle of poverty. We seek to empower the gifts and talents that are already present in the communities through intentional, Ugandan-led ministry!

Children’s Ministry

Our  Kid’s Club  was formed from an immediate need for childcare due to the growing number of children attending Bible study in 2018. Mission Trips Uganda saw this need as an opportunity to further serve the village by providing bible study, a safe place for the children to play, and snacks. Now, between 200-300 kids regularly attend Kid’s Club twice a week in Buwooya Community.

Family to Family

Family-to-Family is our annual outreach where our very own Mission Trips Uganda children have the opportunity to share the Gospel and the love of Jesus Christ to families living in some of the poorest villages in Uganda as well as provide them with everyday living essentials such as bags of salt, sugar, rice, cooking oil, bar soap, and matches each Christmas season.

In Uganda our community outreach programs focus on vulnerable, underprivileged children and young people in Buwooya Village and in Kampala. You will spend most of your time in Buwooya Village; however, you may spend some time in Kampala occasionally. If you have a particular area of interest in Kampala, please let the volunteer coordinator know
