Joseph Kiwanuka
Founder/Chief Visionary
Joseph provides leadership and direction to the staff to enable them to execute the mission and vision of Mission Trips Uganda in the most efficient and impactful way. He loves being able to maximize each employee’s impact by empowering them to use their unique gifts and talents.
While serving at Mission Trips Uganda, he is reminded that we are hope deliverers as he sees parents well up with tears of joy as their children’s lives are changed. Joseph loves watching lives transform right before his eyes and seeing people walk in their purpose.
Florence Mukankusi
Lead Program Manager
Born and raised in Mityana District about 45 miles west of the capital city, Kampala. She loves the camaraderie of the team she gets to work with. Florence serves on our development team as the liaison between our partner’s organization and the operation team. She enjoys interacting with all areas of the organization as she helps get an event from inspiration to execution.
She is impacted seeing the sheer size and reach of the organization that in an unconventional way. Florence has a Bachelor of arts degree in social work and social administration from Makerere University, Kampala. And she enjoys being with her family, shopping, listening to music and traveling.
Jackline Ayesiza
Communications Manager
Born and raised in Hoima District about 233.7 km northwest of the capital city, Kampala. Jacky develops content to keep Mission Trips Uganda supporters and the media informed and inspired about our initiatives and supports the Mission Trips Uganda staff with their marketing needs. She loves hearing stories of impact and sharing those with our supporters. Jacky has a Bachelor of arts degree from Makerere University, Kampala. And she loves traveling, writing, reading, swimming, badminton and playing chess.
Godfrey Gabunga
Associate Director of Missions
Was born in small town called Iganga in Eastern-Uganda and raised on the farm in a small country side town called Kyegegwa in western Uganda. Godfrey has a huge passion for children who are unable to afford an education and loves playing a huge role in Mission Trips Uganda Sponsorship program. Godfrey helps manage and coordinate tasks for our international team trips. He loves helping teams through the trip process from start to finish, including seeing them encounter life-changing moments. With a heart to serve children in impoverished communities, he receives joy equipping others to also serve. One of his most impactful memories is when we get to give shoes and shoes to homeless and poor children in the local communities in Uganda. Godfrey has a certificate in Child Care Ministry and pursuing another course in theology. And he enjoys spending time adventuring, watching soccer and watching movies on Netflix.

He loves watching lives transform right before his eyes and seeing people walk in their purpose.
Grace Linda N.B
Executive Assistant
Grace is a Ugandan Based Holistic Professional Counselor who got most of her experience working at the Central Police Station of Uganda under the Child and Family Protection Unit (CFPU). There she handled cases like domestic violence, child abuse, family disputes, divorce and separation, relationship struggles and custody cases.
Grace currently runs a startup counseling firm called Beautiful Aspirations SMC-Limited offering services such as one on one counseling or group therapy sessions on grief and loss, anxiety and depression, trauma, addiction, relationship struggles, change, stress and anger management, identity and self esteem, abuse and harassment.
She has worked with different Organizations like; The Makerere University – John Hopkins University Research Collaboration, Project Girls for Girls, Peak Schools, FHI-360 to educate, mentor and empower. She also is the founder of a quarterly event “How to Make your House a Home” built on the premise home is a feeling and not just a physical address to help people improve their livelihoods for the people around and in their home in turn fostering healthy relationships.
.Grace has a B.A in Social Development and Counseling, a MSc. In Monitoring and Evaluation all from Uganda Martyrs University- Nkozi, she also has a certificate in REBT- the science of reprogramming the mind, certificate in coping skills – freedom from stress & pain, certificate in sexual harassment training.

Ogola Florence Anyango

Florence is a Communications Specialist working with the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) -Kenya, as a Senior Communications Officer. Florence has over 9 years of working experience in the field of journalism, Communications, and Public Relations. Before joining CRS in 2019, Florence served as a Communications Officer with the Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) for a period of two and half years focusing on Communications for Development and media relations, especially during emergencies. Florence has also worked as a Correspondent Writer for the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR) covering human rights issues in post-conflict northern Uganda and as the Communications Manager for Invisible Children, a non -profit in Northern Uganda. Florence has a B.A in Mass Communications from Kampala International University.
Namanya Lovince Emily

Emily is WASH Projects Coordinator- Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA). Emily has a B.A in Environmental Management from Makerere University, Kampala. And a masters of Science in Water Resources Management UNESCO-IHE Institute of Water Education, Netherlands. Her training is primarily focused on environment protection, Health and sanitation and her research and community service interests include Sustainable Solid Waste Management, Water Resources Management, Air quality and Monitoring and Environmental Journalism. She is certified member, environment officer for the national environment management authority and associate member of Rotary Club
Seble Mitiku Getahun
Member
Seb was born and raised in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. She received her B.A in accounting from the university of Addis Ababa majoring in accounting. She has over 10 years experience working with different private sectors and non-governmental organizations in Addis Ababa and Kampala in different areas of finance, budget controls, Administration and marketing. She has a heart for Mission work, especially in Uganda. She is currently the CEO, Gayaseb import and export Ltd. And she is blessed with two beautiful Children.
Vivian Namale
Member
Associate Attorney at Kentaro Mugerwa Company Advocates and Solicitors. And She is also the legal advisor and legal secretary for Mission Trips Uganda. Vivian has a B.A in Law from Makerere University and Post-Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from law development Centre, Kampala. She also has an MBA in finance from Uganda Management Institute. She has represented individuals and businesses in a wide range of complex business disputes in the High Court of Uganda.
Additionally, Vivian has been involved in several pro-bono activities organized by the Uganda Law Society, providing free legal aid to majorly the indigent Ugandan population. And she has enthusiastically contributed to policy formulation, policy review, drafting of legal opinions, conducting legal research and analysis and conducting alternative dispute resolution with respect to marginalized groups.
This has immensely contributed towards the growth of her legal career and enhanced her passion for human rights advocacy for the vulnerable people in society comprising children, women, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), among others. She is a certified member of Uganda Law Society (ULS), East Africa Law Society (EALS), and Uganda Swimming Federation (USF)
