Mission Trips Uganda will make sure that our babies receive the medical care, nutrition and love they desperately need. We will not only meet their immediate physical and emotional needs, but also helping to give them the best possible start in life.
Zuri Babies Home is the process of being established to provide care for orphaned and abandoned babies. Zuri Babies Home will be located in Kira Town Council, Wakiso District, Uganda. Since will started Mission Trips Uganda, we have been so much overwhelmed by phone calls from the police and the local authorities about babies being abandoned. And after praying and asking God for his guidance, we strongly feel this is the right time to establish a Babies Home.
Many are orphaned when their parents die due to AIDS, birth complications, or other factors. Some are abandoned in the hospital after birth. Others are found abandoned at taxi stops, in latrines, or on the street. Our goal is that each one of them will find a place with a loving Christian family. Mission Trips Uganda has already identified a safe and secure place to house up to 50 children, ages birth to 5 years.
Zuri Babies Home will employ about 10 Ugandan care takers and social workers to care for our children, and also will enjoy the assistance of a number of volunteers from around the world.
We are going to operate Zuri Babies Home under the covering of Mission Trips Uganda, a non-profit in Uganda. Zuri Babies Home is going operate by faith in a loving, heavenly Father who has promised to take up the cause of the orphan.

This van is going to help us transport our children and staff for medical appointments in a much safer manner and take us places our old van couldn’t! We trust that it’s going to bless Zuri Babies Home for years to come.
