Florence is a Communications Specialist working with the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) -Kenya, as a Senior Communications Officer. Florence has over 9 years of working experience in the field of journalism, Communications, and Public Relations. Before joining CRS in 2019, Florence served as a Communications Officer with the Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) for a period of two and half years focusing on Communications for Development and media relations, especially during emergencies. Florence has also worked as a Correspondent Writer for the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR) covering human rights issues in post-conflict northern Uganda and as the Communications Manager for Invisible Children, a non -profit in Northern Uganda. Florence has a B.A in Mass Communications from Kampala International University.
